Paul Roman Bose

Paul Bose is a PhD Candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam and a research fellow at the Department of Economics at Bocconi University. His primary research interests are in applied microeconomics, with a focus on political economy. In his research he makes use of data from social networks, parliamentary documents and survey evidence combined with machine learning, natural language processing and natural experiments to study political selection, the political causes and consequences of loss of trust in democracy as well as the public and political response to refugee arrivals.
