Andrea Gentilini

Andrea Gentilini has served as the Head of the Financial Market Infrastructures division at the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) since 2017, where he oversees post-trading policy and supervision. In addition to his role as Alternate Member of the ESMA Board of Supervisors, he chairs the ESMA Post Trading Working Group, and co-chairs the ESMA-ECB T2S Cooperative Arrangement. Since joining the CSSF in 2014, he has been instrumental in policy activities related to post-trading, derivatives and market infrastructures. Prior to his regulatory work, he spent 15 years as a portfolio manager in Luxembourg and China. He holds an MSc in economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
