Baffi Centre co-organizer of a conference in Rome with CEPR and Bank of Italy
Banca d'Italia, Baffi Centre of Università Bocconi, the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF), and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) organize of the fifth edition of the conference on Financial Stability and Regulation. Banca d'Italia will host the event at the Carlo Azeglio Ciampi Centre for Monetary and Financial Education in Rome on 23rd and 24th March 2026.
Banca d'Italia's Deputy Governor Chiara Scotti will give the opening remarks. Prof. Tano Santos of Columbia Business School will deliver the keynote lecture on “Destabilizing Digital Bank Walks, chaired by Elena Carletti from the Baffi Centre of Università Bocconi. The first part of the conference covers Monetary Policy Transmission through Bank Balance Sheets. The second part of the conference covers Safe Asset Market Fragility, Dealers, and Central Bank Interventions. The organizing committee of the conference includes @Elena Carletti and @Filippo De Marco, both members of CEPR and of the Baffi Centre of Università Bocconi.
