Clément Mazet-Sonilhac is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at Bocconi University. He is also a Research Fellow at the Collège de France's Economics of Innovation Lab and at the Institute for Research on the Economics of Innovation (IGIER). Clément completed his PhD in Economics at Sciences Po Paris in 2021, under the supervision of Thomas Chaney. Prior to joining Bocconi, he worked as a Research Economist at the Banque de France and has been a visiting researcher at MIT Sloan School of Management. His research interests include banking, the economics of innovation, and, more recently, poverty reduction.
