Florian Huber is Professor of Economics at the University of Salzburg, specializing in Bayesian time series econometrics with applications in macroeconomics and finance. Before joining the University of Salzburg, he was Assistant Professor at WU Vienna and served as an economist in the foreign research division of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB). Currently, he is Deputy Head of the Department of Economics, a scientific consultant to the OeNB, the European Central Bank, and the European Commission, Associate Editor of Macroeconomic Dynamics, and a Senior Scientist at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis. His research appears in leading journals such as the Journal of Econometrics, the Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, International Economic Review and the European Economic Review.
