Lautaro Chittaro

Lautaro Chittaro is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Bocconi University. His research lies at the intersection of financial economics, macroeconomics, and industrial organization. His current work studies how financial markets and public policies interact with heterogeneous firms and investors. His projects examine the design and long-run effects of government-guaranteed lending programs, the role of financial markets in providing incentives to reduce carbon emissions, the pricing and risk of sovereign green debt, and the economic costs of disruptions to U.S. supply chains. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University in 2026 and is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
