Giovanna Marcolongo

Giovanna Marcolongo completed her PhD in Economics at Boston University in 2020 and is now a postdoctoral fellow at Bocconi University. She works at the intersection of political economy and development economics, with a particular focus on the economics of crime and corruption. Her recent work studies the participation of organized crime in the legal economy and the relationship between rents from natural resources and tax havens.
