Philipp Reineke
Philipp Reineke, PhD Management Science and Engineering, Stanford University, is an incoming Assistant Professor at Bocconi University. His research examines how emerging technologies — such as blockchain and AI — and novel organizational forms jointly influence behavior. In his most recent work, he studies how decentralized decision-making on blockchains shapes participation dynamics in decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). In a second stream, he explores how to use AI and machine learning methods to improve social science research. His work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Annals, the Strategic Management Journal, and Organization Science. Prior to his PhD, he earned an MSc in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, an MSc in Organizational Behavior from the London School of Economics, and a BSc in Business Administration from WHU — Otto Beisheim School of Management.
