Sara Staffolani

Sara Staffolani is a PhD student in Economics and Finance (Finance track) at Bocconi University. She holds a BSc in Economics and Finance (2019) and an MSc in Finance (2022), both from Bocconi University. During her studies, she worked for three years as an IT tutor. Prior to starting her PhD, she completed an internship in the Post-Trading Securities team at Mediobanca, where she gained experience with derivative instruments and financial markets. During her doctoral studies, she has worked as a research assistant on projects related to Green Finance. Her research interests lie in financial engineering, quantitative methods, econometrics, asset pricing, and sustainable finance, with a particular focus on the application of advanced quantitative techniques to financial and environmental challenges.
