Margherita Saraceno
Margherita Saraceno is associate professor of public economics at the University of Pavia (Dept. of Law). Recently, she has been PI for Fondazione Cariplo's project "Women in the Pandemic." Previously, she was at the University of Milano-Bicocca (2014-2018) and the University of Amsterdam as a Marie Curie Fellow (2012-2014). She received her Ph.D. in Law and Economics from the University of Pavia.
Margherita's current research interests include law and economics (especially the dynamics and effects of regulation and policies). Her main contributions concern the relations among the functioning of the judiciary, the regulatory effects of securities class action in the banking sector, and the role of suspicious transaction reporting in money laundering.
