Laura Zanetti

Research Unit Director. Laura Zanetti graduated in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University.
She is associate professor with tenure of corporate finance as well as academic director of the Bachelor of Economics and Finance at Bocconi University. Previously, she was Visiting scholar at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) member of the Executive Council of the Department of Finance and Director of the Master of Science in Finance at Bocconi.
Her research interests include corporate finance and governance, industrial performance, long term capital, business valuation, Esg and sustainable finance. She has published many books and papers on these subjects, such as “Valutation of Financial Companies: Tools and Techniques to Value Banks, Insurance Companies and Other Financial Institutions” (Wiley, 2014) and “Corporate Valuation: Measuring the Value of Companies in Turbulent Times” (Wiley, 2016).
Professor Zanetti has also served as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Auditor, board member and statutory auditor for a number of major national and international listed companies.
