Filippo De Marco (Ph.D. Boston College, 2015) is an Associate Professor of Finance at Bocconi University. His research interests lie primarily in the field of empirical banking and monetary economics. Prof. De Marco studies how financial, regulatory and monetary policy shocks affect the real economy through bank lending policies. He has published numerous articles in leading academic journals and has worked as a consultant for the European Commission and the European Parliament. Over the years, he has organized several conferences on Banking and Financial Stability, jointly with Baffi-Bocconi, CEPR and the Bank of Italy.
