Wanli Zhao

Wanli Zhao is currently a professor of accounting at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, after working at the US Securities & Exchange Commission and universities in the US and Asia. His research focuses on governance-related topics and his publications appear in top-tier journals in finance, accounting, and economics. His research awards include the “Best Paper in Corporate Finance” at 2014 FMA and the “Outstanding Researcher of the Year” by the CoB of SIU in 2015. He is currently the associate editor at Financial Management and Journal of Business Finance & Accounting.
